my Spreewald photo gallery

My name is Karl Heinz Wendland.

I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer.

The original and unique nature of my homeland inspires me again and again.

In my personal  In the photo gallery I show my Spreewald photos for everyone who likes the Spreewald, but also for all curious people who would like to get to know the Spreewald.

The Spreewald is a green labyrinth of streams that run through this rustic water landscape with hundreds of water arms. Many rare animals and plants still find a habitat here. The Spreewald offers a wealth of motifs in every season and at different times of the day.

In addition  nor the special culture of the Slavic minority, the Sorbs/Wends.

For example, the custom of the colorful and artistically decorated Easter eggs and the traditional ones  Lower Sorbian  costumes (see photo). My tips for this are the open-air museum in Lehde and the museum in Dissen near Cottbus.

From the harbor "Am Holzgraben" in Lübbenau you can start the beautiful boat trips in the Spreewald in a relaxed atmosphere.
